Once we prepared an opinion on a request from an English court. The situation concerned a place where a child could stay during the summer holidays and the possibility that one of the parents might not return the child. Two jurisdictions were considered — Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The question was about the way in which English court decisions are enforced in these countries.
We analysed a legislation of both countries, international agreements, court practice and, what is especially important, we proposed practical steps that could help both parties to agree and close the matter, because in the conclusion it is important not just to list the rules, but to propose a solution that can be used in life.
